The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Alamganj P. S. Case No. 164 of 2015 registered under Sections 406 and 409 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the fact that the name of the petitioner transpired during investigation as one of the persons, who was instrumental in making illegal withdrawal from the GPF account of some government employee, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of prearrest bail is rejected. However, in case the petitioner surrenders and seeks

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1203 of 2018 (2) dt.19-01-2018 2/2 bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
