====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 01-02-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 120(B), 323, 382, 467, 468, 471, 420 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 23.02.2022 and has antecedent of one case and the informant alleges that petitioner who is a Revenue Karamchari in connivance with other seven named accused persons tried to grab his land on the basis of forged document.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, being a government servant he cannot even think of committing such an

No.29396 of 2022(3) dt.01-02-2023 2/2 occurrence, it is next submitted that the dispute is between the informant and the persons who tried to grab his land and the petitioner was made a scapegoat in the present case. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 139 of 2017.
