2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Sections, 30, 30(a), 38(i)(ii) & 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per F.I.R., 2997.4 liters of illicit foreign liquor was recovered from a truck and Creta Car. Name of petitioner surfaced on the confession of apprehended co-accused persons, who disclosed that seized liquor belongs to this petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is neither owner nor driver of the seized vehicles and has been made accused only on suspicion. Petitioner is in custody since 16.04.2025. Charge has been framed.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the bail petition.

Considering the period of custody and the fact that charge has already been framed, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Exclusive Special Excise Judge, Saran at Chapra in connection with Manjhi P.S.
