JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 14-03-2018 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition was allowed with an order of reinstatement with consequential reliefs. It is the complaint that although he has been reinstated but the consequential relief allowed, has not been granted in form of back wages.

Heard the parties.

It is not in dispute that the petitioner has been reinstated. The order passed on the writ petition though allows consequential reliefs but issues no direction for grant of back wages to the

Patna High Court MJC No.2938 of 2017 (3) dt.14-03-2018 petitioner. In such circumstances even though the term consequential reliefs would cover the reliefs consequent upon joining viz. continuity of service for the purpose of grant of inservice as well as post retiral benefits but in absence of a specific direction to make payment of back wages, no cause for contempt is made out.
