1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has discharged his responsibility as teacher ( Shikha Swayam Sevak) Talimi Markaz but he was not paid honorarium since February 2010. In the matter of payment of honorarium for discharging responsibility by the petitioner, the respondent authority has to verify the record and if it is found that the
Patna High Court CWJC No.11020 of 2014(3) dt.02-08-2018 2/2 petitioner has actually worked for the aforesaid period and his honorarium has to be paid. In view of the above the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondent District Programme Officer (Saksharata) to verify the record and if the petitioner has actually discharged the responsibility of Talimi Markaz he shall ensure that honorarium be paid to the petitioner within a maximum period of 60 days from the receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
3. Respondent is also required to verify whether anything is payable to the petitioner as contingency fund or not and if it is found something is payable under contingency fund then he shall also ensure the payment of contingency fund within time framed.
4. With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
