A supplementary counter affidavit filed on behalf off respondent No 7 is taken on record.

2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this writ application may be disposed of in terms of the statement made by respondent No 7 in paragraph 6 of the supplementary counter affidavit which reads as follows:

"6 That the petitioner has been paid Rs 70,000/- out of the aforesaid due sum, since

Patna High Court CWJC No.17934 of 2014(8) dt.18-12-2025 2/2 Rs 70,000/- was available in the funds of the answering respondent. For the rest Rs 18,000/-, the answering respondent has requested the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Education Department, Bhagalpur vide letter No 17 dated 30.05.2024 and letter No 63 dated 16.12.2025 requesting for making available the funds for payment to the petitioner."

3 Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has received Rs 70,000/- and for the balance Rs 18,000/-, the respondent-State has agreed to release the said amount no sooner the funds are available for payment to the petitioner.

4 As prayed for by learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of in terms of the aforesaid statement made in paragraph 6 of the supplementary counter affidavit filed by respondent No 7. Respondent No 7 is directed to make payment of the balance amount of Rs 18,000/- as early as possible to the petitioner preferably within a period of six months from the date of passing of this order. 5 Accordingly, the writ application is disposed of with the above terms.
