2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 80, 123, 3(5) of the B.N.S.

3. The case of the prosecution, in brief, is that one Soni Kumari was married to the son of the informant, namely Arvind, in the year 2021. It is alleged that after the marriage, she was subjected to cruelty on account of non-fulfilment of dowry demand of a Bullet motorcycle and cash of Rs. 4 lakhs. It is further alleged that on 07.10.2025, at about 4:00 P.M., one Sunil Yadav informed the informant telephonically that Soni Kumari was seriously ill, whereupon the family members rushed to her matrimonial home and found her dead body lying

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in connection with the present case. It is further submitted that from perusal of the FIR, it would appear that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature. It is further submitted that the petitioner is an old lady aged about 50 years and is the motherin-law of the deceased. The husband of the deceased is already in custody. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 14.02.2026..

Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Fatehpur P.S. Case No. 685 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya.
