The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Suryagarha P.S.Case No. 169 of 2014 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 452, 380, 302 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the direct and specific allegation made in the FIR against the petitioner that he brutally assaulted the sister of the informant and strangulated her to death and inserted lathi in her private part, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
