2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 147, 149, 323, 341, 506, 307 and 386 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per FIR, the informant alleged that the petitioner along with other co-accused persons due to land dispute used to threaten him and also used to demand ransom money of 5 lacs from him.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has falsely been implicated in this case due to land dispute. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner and the ransom demand has not been executed. No any incriminating article has

Similarly situated other co-accused person has already been granted bail by this Court vide Annexure-2 of this petition. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 15.03.2024.

5. Learned APP appearing for the state has opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6.Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as custody of the petitioner, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Mainatand P.S. Case No. 85 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Bettiah, West Champaran.
