2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Raxaul P.S. Case No. 26 of 2024 / NDPS G.R. Case No. 06 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 414, 420, 120-B, 468, 471, 489-A, 489-B, 489-C, 489D/34 of the IPC and 8, 20(b)(ii)(C) of the NDPS Act.

3. As per allegation, the informant got a secret information that near R.S. Hotel, Block Road, two persons on scooty with fake currency notes and narcotics substance were likely to come, on that information, the police party came there and apprehended co-accused Md. Yusuf @ Pappu. On search, 1.02 kg of ganja was recovered from his possession. He also disclosed the names of co-accused Ravi Kumar Soni and the petitioner in his confessionals statement. Thereafter, the house of Ravi Kumar Soni was searched and some materials for printing the counterfeit

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He was not arrested at the spot. Nothing was recovered from his conscious possession. He is a person of clean antecedent. The petitioner was working in Banglore and for preparation of competitive examination, he came to Siwan wherefrom he was arrested.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Session Judge/Special Judge, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Raxaul P.S. Case No. 26 of 2024 / NDPS G.R. Case No. 06 of 2024, subject to the following condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
