The following reliefs have been sought for by the petitioner in the present writ application:

"That this writ application is directed for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus/order/direction commanding the respondents to grant benefit of an additional increment to the petitioner with effect from 1995 in view of the circular issued by the respondent no. 1 vide Letter No. 671 dated 14.07.1977 which was issued for facilitating the programme of

Patna High Court CWJC No.23328 of 2013 (2) dt.05-09-2017 2/2 family planning amongst the Government employees."

Considering the reliefs sought for on behalf of the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to file a representation before the respondent no. 2, the Vice Chancellor, Bihar Agriculture University, Sabaur, Bhagalpur, for redressal of his grievance as sought for in the present writ application within a period of three months. The respondent no. 2, the Vice Chancellor, Bihar Agriculture University, Sabaur, Bhagalpur, shall consider the representation filed on behalf of the petitioner and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law within a period of five months from the date of receipt/production of such representation. The respondent will be obliged to make payment if there is any admitted claim for which the petitioner is entitled for. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the present writ application stands disposed of.
