JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-08-2025 Heard Mr. Karandeep Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Mr. Umesh Narayan Dubey, learned AC to GP27 for the State.

2. The petitioners in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition have sought inter alia the following relief(s), which is reproduced hereinafter:- "i. For commanding the respondents to make payment of remuneration to the petitioners for the work having been discharged by them as guest faculty in the Block Education and Training Institute, Dariyapur,

For commanding the respondent no.2 & 3 to pass an appropriate order in regard to of making payment remuneration to the petitioner on the basis of bill of payment issued by the respondent no.5 as contained in letter no. 60 dated 29.09.2020 (Annexure-3) as well as filed representation (Annexure-4) by these petitioner in that regard.

iii. Also for any other relief(s) for which petitioners are found to be entitled in view of the facts and circumstances as well as in eye of law."

From the pleadings of the writ petition it reveals that the petitioners were selected as guest faculty and petitioner no.1 (Niraj Kumar Ram) was selected to teach Hindi and ICT, petitioner no.2 (Gopal Krishna) was selected to teach English and Petitioner no.3 (Nand Kishore Prasad) was selected to teach Child Psychology. They were engaged for different period during the academic session 2017-18 and thereafter from January, 2019 to June, 2019 and for academic session from July, 2019 to July, 2020. They claimed for remuneration, which was required to be paid as per the work order vide letter no.190 dated 14.10.2017. The request in this regard was made before the Director, State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) on 29.09.2020 by the Principal, Block Education and Training Institute, Dariyapur, District - East Champaran but no steps were taken to make payment to the petitioners and thereafter, for the aforesaid period the petitioners filed

Patna High Court CWJC No.12750 of 2021(3) dt.07-08-2025 3/3 representation before the Director, Research and Training, Education Department on 10.02.2020 (Annexure-4) and no action having been taken, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition.

In view of the inaction on the part of the Director, SCERT this Court has no alternative than to direct him to forthwith take steps to make payment of all the dues, as claimed by the petitioners and having been accepted by the Principal, Block Education and Training Institute, Dariyapur, District - East Champaran.

5. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
