2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the B.N.S.

3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that the son of the informant was killed by his in-laws as his wife was having illicit relationship with someone else. It is further alleged that the in-laws of the deceased has threatened him of dire consequences.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. She has been falsely implicated in this

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that from perusal of the F.I.R. itself it is clear that the F.I.R. is based only on the basis of suspicion. There is no eye witness of this case. It has further been submitted that moreover, the petitioner is a lady aged about 50 years and it is not alleged that there was any role of this petitioner in committing murder of the deceased. Petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and he is languishing in judicial custody since 25.02.2026.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State and learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the application for bail. Learned counsel for the informant has submitted that during course of investigation, the witnesses who have examined by the police have supported the case of the prosecution and inquest report has also supported the manner in which the death was caused but the learned counsel for the informant has conceded that there is no eye witness of the occurrence.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties
