2. The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to give the benefit of 1st and 2nd ACP to the petitioner after completion of 12 years and 24 years of service respectively.

3. As per averments made in the writ petition, the petitioner was retired from the service with effect from 31.01.2005 and he was getting revised pay scale of Rs. 4500-7000 with effect from 01.01.1996.

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner was not passed the Departmental Accountant Examination so he could not get the benefit of 2nd time bond promotion as required vide Finance Department Govt. of Bihar letter no. 3/M-2-5-09-93-43-141 Finance (2) dated 21.06.1993 and there was not need to pass the Departmental Examination to get the 1st time bond promotion and as such the petitioner was granted the benefit of 1st time bond promotion and accordingly, all payment has been made to the petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, it appears that the gievance of the petitioner has been redressed.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
