It is submitted by petitioners' Counsel that he would
Patna High Court CWJC No.16223 of 2015(4) dt.21-08-2019 2/2 be satisfied if this Court would permit him liberty to represent before the competent authority for grant of time bound promotion and benefits of assured career progression scheme taking into consideration their length of service as Extra Clerk for the said purpose.
In view of such submission and since consideration has to be done by the authorities, pendency of the writ proceeding would be futile.
The writ petition is therefore disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to move the authorities. If such a representation is filed within four weeks the same would be disposed of by respondent No. 2 by a reasoned and s[peaking order in accordance with law, and if financial benefits on account of such consideration is found admissible the same shall also be paid within three months thereafter.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
