2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 381 of 2024 dated 10.11.2024 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 3(5) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on the alleged date of occurrence, the petitioner along with other accused persons assaulted the informant and his uncle. Allegation against the petitioner is that he fired upon the informant, who sustained bullet injury on the right temporal region of the head.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this

It is further submitted that earlier cousin sister of the petitioner had been kidnapped by the member of prosecution party for which a case bearing Teghra P.S. Case No. 41 of 2021 was lodged on 05.02.2021. Lastly, it has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 21.01.2025 having no criminal antecedents. Charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State as well as learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the informant submits that there is direct allegation against the petitioner who fired upon the informant due to which he received bullet injury on the right temporal region.
6. Since there is specific allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
7. Accordingly the prayer for regular bail on behalf of the petitioner stands rejected.
8. The learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and take all endeavour to conclude the trial at the earliest, preferably, within a period of nine (9) months from the date of
