2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

3. This application has been filed for modification of the order dated 15.05.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 29470 of 2024 by this Court whereby and whereunder the prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail has been allowed with certain conditions.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are illiterate person and they could not

No.31994 of 2025(3) dt.27-06-2025 2/2 understand the consequence of the order and they were under impression that they were not required to surrender before the learned trial court as they have been enlarged on bail by the High Court itself. The learned counsel further submits that for this reason, the petitioners could not surrender within the period of eight weeks as directed in the order dated 15.05.2024.

5. In the light of submission made on behalf of the petitioners, the time to surrender is extended by further four weeks.

6. Accordingly, the order dated 15.05.2024 stands modified to the aforesaid extent only.
