This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Kawakole P.S. Case No. 51 of 2013, disclosing offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 325, 307 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

The FIR was registered in the year 2013, whereas this application has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail in 2019. In my view, therefore, this application for grant of anticipatory bail cannot be entertained and is accordingly dismissed. However, the petitioner is directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, the court below shall consider his prayer for regular bail on its own merit, without being
