Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State. 2.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Tajpur P.S. Case No. 602 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 325, 354B, 379, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is regarding the accused persons having assaulted the informant and her family members as also are alleged to have tried to outrage her modesty. As far as the petitioner is concerned, he is stated to have assaulted the informant on her hand resulting in her right ring

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent, he has been falsely implicated in the present case and he is having a clean antecedent. The learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that in order to compensate the injuries sustained by the informant, he is ready to pay a sum of Rs. 25,000/- to the informant.

Per contra, the learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties and taking into account the materials on record as also considering the fact that the petitioner is ready to compensate the informant by paying a sum of Rs. 25,000/- to her, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs. 25,000/- to the informant, before the learned court below, whereupon the petitioner shall be

Case No. 602 of 2022, subject to such other conditions as may be deemed fit and proper to be imposed by the learned trial court.

Accordingly, the petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
