1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Patahi P.S. Case No.185/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 387, 34 of the Indian Penal Code & Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of the learned 8th Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari.

3. Since the petitioner has approached this Court after 7 years of the institution of the instant F.I.R., the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the anticipatory bail application of the petitioner is rejected.
