The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Tharthari P.S.Case No. 88 of 2017 registered under Sections 341, 323, 307 and 325/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the allegation that the petitioner and co-accused Tutu Kumar mercilessly assaulted the informant causing injury on his head and wrist of the right hand and the injuries caused on the wrist were found to be grievous, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected. In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J) Pradeep/- U T
