This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Harnaut (Chero) P.S. Case No. 290 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is regarding the accused persons killing the daughter of the informant on account of non-fulfillment of the demand for dowry.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the married sister-in-law of the victim girl and she has got nothing to do with the alleged occurrence. It is further submitted that the husband of the victim girl is already behind bars.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.424 of 2018(3) dt.09-02-2018 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Harnaut (Chero) P.S. Case No. 290 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
