The writ petition has been filed by the petitioners claiming that though they have discharged their duties on contractual basis as clerks under the Collectorate Office of Gopalganj, the honorarium has not been paid to the petitioners for the period from 03.08.2011 to 30.06.2012. In respect of the petitioner no. 2 the dues are allegedly from 03.07.2011 to 30.06.2012. The representations of

3. Since the decision regarding admissibility of the honorarium to the petitioners is to be taken by the District Magistrate, Gopalganj, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the instant writ petition pending. The same is therefore, disposed off with direction to the District Magistrate, Gopalganj, respondent No, 3 to take a final decision on the representation filed by the petitioners and disposed off the same by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
