The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with a case registered under sections 386, 387, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 30.11.2021 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. no.20687 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after six months. The petitioner has remained in custody since 2.11.2020, the investigation in the case is complete and the petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the trial. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29681 of 2022(2) dt.06-07-2022 2/2 taking into consideration the liberty granted to the petitioner vide earlier order of rejection dated 30.11.2021, more than six months have been passed since the said order and the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year since 2.11.2020, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Karja P.S. Case no.269 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate V, West, Muzaffarpur.
