2. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 420, 409, 120(B) of IPC.
3 . The prosecution case, in brief, is that this petitioner along with other F.I.R. named accused persons, being faculty members of Jansahkari Degree College, Barap, Garhani, Bhojpur, misappropriated huge amount of college fund sanctioned by the Government.
4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged. Petitioner is a lecturer in the department of political science at

Petitioner being a faculty member with not control over the college treasury, has been falsely implicated solely on account of payments received in the ordinary course . The petitioner asserts that the allegations fundamentally stem from ongoing administrative and factional disputes within the college management, and that the prosecution has suppressed the fact that the subject disbursements were authorized by the Ad-hoc Committee and directed by the University Syndicate to settle the salary dues of teaching and non-teaching staff, alongside essential institutional expenditures (Annexure-7 & B). Furthermore, the specific allegations against the petitioner are confined to the receipt of Rs.
7 lakhs-an amount duly paid vide cheque signed by the authorized University representative and the Professor-in-Charge for the repair and construction of the college approach road-and Rs. 2.05 lakhs, which was a standard advance for his daughter's marriage that has since been fully adjusted (Annexure-9). Finally, entire financial transaction during the tenure of Dr. Sanjay Kumar Ray has already undergone a comprehensive audit by a Chartered Accountant, and the resulting audit report indicates that not a single penny was misappropriated by the petitioner (Annexure-10 & 10/1) .

5 . Learned counsel for the State as well as informant opposed the bail petition .
6 Considering the aforesaid facts, clean antecedent of the petitioner and other circumstances of the case , in the event of arrest or surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned VIIth, Additional Sessions Judge, Bhojpur, Ara, in connection with Agiaon (G) P.S. Case No. 147 of 2025 , subject to the conditions laid down under section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 .
