JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE ) 13-10-2015 Heard Mr. Prashant Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. Vikas Kumar, learned AC, appearing for the State-respondents.

Learned counsel for the State has submitted that in order to keep the confidential progress of the investigation of Chenari P.S. Case No. 200 of 2014, the respondents, particularly, Superintendent of Police, Rohtas, have opted to produce before this Court a C.D. (Compact Disc) in respect of investigation and that the C.D. (Compact Disc) would reveal that the informant has lodged a false case in collusion with his son inasmuch as the C.D.

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.113 of 2015 (12) dt.13-10-2015 (Compact Disc) reveals the record of conversation between the informant and his son, who is alleged to have been abducted. Sri Prashant Sinha, learned Counsel for the petitioner, submits that the respondent No.5, Superintendent of Police, Rohtas, may be directed to take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion in accordance with law.

Having considered the matter in its entirety and in the interest of justice, we close this writ petition with a direction to the respondents, particularly, respondent No.5, Superintendent of Police, Rohtas, to carry on properly and expeditiously the investigation of Chenari P.S. 200 of 2014 and bring the same to its logical conclusion in accordance with law.

With the above observations and directions, this writ application is disposed of.

However, the petitioner shall remain at liberty to take recourse to appropriate provisions of law for remedy of his grievances, if any, in future.
