This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Paranpur P.S. Case No. 15 of 2023 registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 206.730 litres of foreign liquor from a car. The petitioner is in custody since 24.01.2023. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 33109 of 2023(2) dt.23-05-2023 2/2 Considering the period of custody and the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Exclusive Special Excise Judge-IInd, Katihar in connection with Paranpur P.S. Case No. 15 of 2023.
