The petitioner is in custody in connection with Trial No.415 of 2019, arising out of Laukariya P.S. Case No. 05 of 2019 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 20.01.2019. He further submits that in the instant case total 24.480 liters liquor was seized. Learned counsel further submits that nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28827 of 2019(2) dt.01-05-2019 2/2 released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Trial No.415 of 2019, arising out of Laukariya P.S. Case No. 05 of 2019.
