JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 16-03-2021 The present petition has been filed for directing the respondent authorities to pay the outstanding retiral dues of the petitioner. The petitioner is stated to have retired on 31.10.2018 while working as Block Education Officer, Amour, Purnea. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the respondent-State has referred to the supplementary counter affidavit filed in the present case and has submitted that as far as the amount of GPF and Group Insurance is concerned, the same have already stood paid to the petitioner, however, the

Patna High Court CWJC No.7847 of 2020(3) dt.16-03-2021 2/2 leave encashment amount, the outstanding amount of gratuity and pension and the arrears thereof shall be paid, within a period of four weeks from today.

Having regard to the stand taken by the respondentState, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present petition with a direction to the respondents to pay the aforesaid outstanding retiral dues of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from today, failing which the Principal Secretary, Education Department, Bihar, Patna, the Director, Primary Education Department, Government of Bihar, Patna and the Regional Deputy Director, Purnea shall not draw their salary.
