The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No. 2671 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 406, 120(B), 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Petitioner is husband of the complainant. It is alleged that petitioner and his family members used to demand dowry from the complainant and subjected her to mental and physical torture.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31879 of 2019(6) dt.18-02-2020 2/2 Counsel for the Opposite party vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that petitioner is husband of the complainant, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
