The grievance of the petitioners is that the land of the petitioners were acquired for widening of National Highway-83 but the Land Acquisition Authority did not pay the amount of compensation according to the nature of the land. There is a provision in the Land Acquisition Act that

Patna High Court CWJC No.194 of 2016(2) dt.22-01-2020 2/2 after notification, the land owners are supposed to file objection with regard to the nature of the land or on any other point on which the land owners have grievance but it appears that the petitioner did not file any objection before the Land Acquisition Authority and accordingly, according to the nature being shown in the notification, the award was prepared.

If the petitioners are aggrieved, the petitioners may file representation before the Land Acquisition Authority and the Land Acquisition Authority shall dispose of the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law within three months thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
