The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(A) To issue appropriate writ in the nature of WRIT OF CERTIORARI to quash the letter dated 21.09.2015, issued by Addl. Officer, Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (hereinafter referred to as "ECHS"), Station HQ Cell, Danapur Cantt. by which the service of petitioner has been terminated from the post of Physiotherapist, ECHS Polyclinic, Muzaffarpur.

(B) To issuance of a direction, order or writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the concerned respondent authorities under the ECHS to allow

Patna High Court CWJC No.18310 of 2015(2) dt.27-09-2023 2/2 the petitioner to continue work on the post of Physiotherapist, ECHS Polyclinic, Muzaffarpur along with all the consequential benefits in accordance with law.

(C) Issuance of an ad interim direction to the concerned respondent authorities to allow the petitioner to continue to work on the post of Physiotherapist under ECHS and further to refrain from filing up the said post during the pendency of present petition."

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to participate in future selection process, which may be considered on its own merit. Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
