====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-05-2020 Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, the matter is being taken up by way of virtual Court proceeding.
The matter has been listed under the heading 'For Orders' under the orders of Hon'ble the Chief Justice. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents.
The following reliefs have been sought for on behalf of the petitioner in the present writ application. "1 (i) To issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus to direct the respondents to felicitate the payment of post retirement benefit accrued as dues in the following
Patna High Court CWJC No.16969 of 2017(2) dt.27-05-2020 2/2 heads:- (a) Group Insurance Amount.
(b) General Provident Fund amount from 08.11.1974 to 31.12.2000.
(ii) To direct the respondents to pay any other dues amount emerging out of extended service of petitioner for which he is entitled to."
On behalf of the petitioner, it has been submitted that the reliefs, except for payment of General Provident Fund, as sought for in the present writ application, have already been redressed by the respondents.
Considering the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to file/make a representation before the concerned authority. The concerned authority shall pass a final order, in accordance with law, within a period of four months, from the date of filing/making of such representation.
With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
