This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Sarai PS case no. 81 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 353, 379 and other sections of Indian Penal Code.
The case of the prosecution is that when the informant who happens to be the Halka Karamchari came at the spot for inquiry and measurement of the land in question, the petitioner herein and one another co-accused person misbehaved with the said Halka Karamchari and also snatched some money from him and destroyed the Revenue Receipt register.
