2. The petitioner seeks bail in Dighwara P.S. Case No. 43 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 329(3), 126(2), 115(2), 118(2), 352 and 351(2) of the BNS 2023.
3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he went to the house of the informant in the drunken stage and started abusing his father thereafter he assaulted him. Further allegation is of biting thumb and chopping off his thumb. The left thumb was later on amputated.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the FIR was lodged after six days of the occurrence and the petitioner is in custody since 28.01.2026 having no criminal

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the age of the petitioner as well as the fact that he has no criminal antecedent and FIR was lodged after six days of the occurrence, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Saran in connection with Dighwara P.S. Case No. 43 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure / Section 482(2) of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita.
9. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application. Such observations shall not be construed as an expression on the merits of the case and shall not influence the trial or any other proceedings in any
