The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the respondent authorities to save the life of the petitioner's father who has been sitting on hunger strike till death since 26.04.2022 more than last two weeks in Special Central Jail, Bhagalpur as his health is day by day deteriorating very badly.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction for shifting the petitioner's father to any

Patna High Court CWJC No.8264 of 2022(2) dt.31-07-2023 2/2 advance medical centre/Government Medical College for appropriate medical treatment because his life is at a great risk due to his ongoing hunger strike.

(iii) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction to shift/transfer the petitioner's father from special central jail, Bhagalpur to any other central jail of Bihar where there is proper medical facility for treatment of his serious ailments or which is situated at short distance at Patna so that he may be provided proper medical treatment."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
