JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 09-01-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ/ order/direction to the respondents to consider the candidature of these petitioners for their enrolment Home Guard in the District as of Sheikhpura in pursuance of Advt. no.02/2011 by which applications were invited from eligible candidates for enrolment as Home

Patna High Court CWJC No.8313 of 2022(2) dt.09-01-2024 2/3 Guard in different district of State of Bihar including the District of Sheikhpura as in the other Districts of the State of Bihar such as District Bhagalpur the District Magistrate, Bhagalpur has issued information on 21.04.2022 for physical and medical test for enrolment of Home Guard in pursuance of Advertisement No.02/ 2011 as well as Advt.

No.01/2006 and likewise in the other District also the similar action has been taken for enrolment of Home Guard in the other District of Bihar.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ/order/direction to the Respondents to enrol the petitioners as Home Guard in the District-Sheikhpura, Block-Shekhopur Sarai in pursuance of Advt.no.02/11 as the petitioners were placed in the list of successful candidates in pursuance of Advt.no.02/11 for the District of Shekhopur Sarai."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of their aforesaid grievance. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
