The petitioner-wife filed this petition for transfer of Matrimonial (Divorce) Case No.241 of 2016 pending in the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Muzaffarpur to the court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was driven out from her maternal home and she is residing with her parents in Patna. The petitioner has already lodged maintenance case and also filed complaint case against her husband at Patna but thereafter her husband filed matrimonial suit seeking divorce in the court of Principal Judge,

Patna High Court MJC No.4183 of 2016(9) dt.06-03-2020 2/2 Family Court, Muzaffarpur. The petitioner is facing a lot of difficulty in pursuing the case at Muzaffarpur. Having considered the facts and for the sake of convenience, the transfer petition is allowed. The Matrimonial (Divorce) Case No.241 of 2016 is ordered to be transferred from the court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Muzaffarpur to the court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna. The Principal Judge, Family Court, Muzaffarpur is directed to transmit the record within four weeks to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna.
