This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Jaynagar P.S. Case No. 80 of 2023 registered under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 63 litres of illicit liquor and also the petitioner is in custody since 25.02.2023.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33495 of 2023(2) dt.23-05-2023 2/2 regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, Madhubani in connection with Jaynagar P.S. Case No. 80 of 2023.

The petitioner will visit Jaynagar police station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
