Having regard to the fact that the petitioner has been removed from the post of Panchayat Secretary by way of punishment in a departmental proceeding vide order dated 31.5.2014 and the petitioner's appeal, against the aforesaid order, is pending consideration before the Divisional Commissioner in Appeal No. 660 of 2014, this Court would direct the appellate authority that if the aforesaid appeal has not been disposed of as yet, the same must be disposed of expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from today. With the aforementioned observation and direction, this application is disposed of.
