JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-01-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners. Despite repeated calls nobody appears on behalf of the State. The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Didarganj P. S. Case No. 178 of 2017 registered under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and the allegation that the petitioners caught hold of the brother of the informant and co-accused Mritunjay Singh assaulted with knife on right side of his chest as a result of which he died, I am not inclined to grant them pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
