The petitioners seek a direction to the Bihar Public Service Commission to conduct the written examination for the post of Drug Inspector advertised vide Commission's Advertisement No. 29 of 1997 by confining the said written examination only to such candidates who have degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Micro-Biology from a University established in India.

After nearly 17 years, it seems, the petitioners have lost
