2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner was appointed by the Registrar of the University on the post the Research Officer and in light of letter dated 29.06.2021, the petitioner is entitled for retiral benefit.

3. Mr. Ritesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University submits that all the papers relating to the service record of the petitioner had been forwarded to the Director, Higher Education, Government of Bihar, vide letter dated

Patna High Court CWJC No.7286 of 2023 dt.21-08-2023 2/2 15.07.2020 and subsequently communicated to the petitioner in this regard.

Considering the fact that the Vice-chancellor of the University had given an undertaking that all the papers relating to the service record of the petitioner have been sent for making payment of the retiral dues to the petitioner, the Vice Chancellor and the Registrar of the University are directed to pursue the matter relating to payment of retiral dues admissible to the petitioner before the Higher Education Department, Government of Bihar without fail and take appropriate steps to ensure that the required fund is disbursed to the University for making payment of retiral dues to the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.
