JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 18-01-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends arrest in Bousi P.S. Case No. 133 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Sections 147,148,149,341,323,307,379,504 of the IPC.

As per written report, there is specific allegation against this petitioner of assaulting the husband of the informant on the head with spade. The case diary has been received; wherein injury report of the husband of informant is available The doctor has found the injury on the person of injured to be grievous in nature.

Considering the specific allegation of assault against the petitioner and nature of injury, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to this petitioner. Accordingly, this anticipatory bail petition stands rejected.
