The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Udwantnagar P.S.Case no.04 of 2018 registered for offences punishable under Section 304B of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is of setting the deceased on fire. The petitioner is said to be husband of the deceased. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that she caught on fire and thereafter she was taken to the hospital and information was given to the informant also from where she was taken to the PMCH and later on she died.

Heard learned A.P.P., who has opposed the prayer for bail. Having heard both sides and from the impugned order, it appears that one of the witnesses has supported the fact that

No.47157 of 2018 (2) dt.14-08-2018 2/2 petitioner poured K.oil and set her on fire, as such, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, however, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from the date of order and make prayer for regular bail.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
