JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 28-04-2016 In the present application preferred under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India the petitioner seeks a direction to be issued to the respondents to provide adequate police protection at the cost of the State as he apprehends serious threat to his life since he had caught one terrorist at Patna Junction on 27th October, 2013 and the petitioner is a seizure list witness in G.R.P. P.S.Case No.361 of 2013 dated 27th August, 2013. At the outset, learned counsel for the State has pointed

WJC No.261 of 2015 (3) dt.28-04-2016 2/2 out that there is a District Level Security Committee (for short "the Committee") in each district of the State of Bihar and in case the petitioner files proper representation before the Committee, the Committee shall look into the matter and pass appropriate order in accordance with law.

In view of the submissions made at the Bar, the petitioner is directed to file an appropriate representation before the Committee within two weeks from today for the redressal of his grievance.

In case, such a representation is filed within the period stipulated hereinabove, the Committee is directed to dispose of the same by a reasoned order within two months from the date of filing of such representation.
