JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 01-10-2020 The present petition has been taken up for consideration through the mode of Video Conferencing in view of the prevailing situation on account of COVID-19 Pandemic. The present petition has been filed for extending the time granted to the petitioner for surrendering before the learned court below for the purposes of being granted the privilege of anticipatory bail, vide earlier order of this Court dated 05.03.2020, passed in Cr. Misc. no. 68302 of 2019. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on account of COVID-2019 Pandemic, the petitioner could not surrender before the learned court below within the stipulated time frame, hence it is prayed that the said time frame be extended by this Court.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25525 of 2020(2) dt.01-10-2020 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of this case and considering the submissions/ averments made in the present petition, I deem it fit and appropriate to extend the time granted to the petitioner to surrender before the learned court below for the purposes of being released on anticipatory bail by a further period of four weeks from today.

Accordingly, the order dated 05.03.2020, passed in Cr. Misc. no. 68302 of 2019 stands modified to the aforesaid extent.

The petition stands disposed off.
