JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-02-2023 This criminal revision application has been filed against order dated 06.07.2013 passed by learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Muzaffarpur in Maintenance Case No. 236 of 2012 whereby and whereunder the learned Principal Judge has allowed the petition filed by opposite party under Section 125 Cr.P.C. and directed the petitioner to pay Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) per month to opposite party, as maintenance. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the Court below has passed ex-parte order, which is bad in law, and as such, the order is fit to be quashed. I have carefully perused the impugned order. The monthly maintenance amount of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand), considering the fact that petitioner is posted as police inspector

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.1157 of 2016(3) dt.17-02-2023 2/2 in Secretariat and his monthly income, as stated in the impugned order, in this age of high inflation, cannot be said to be excessive. I do not find any illegality or perversity in the impugned order, which requires any interference by this Court. Accordingly, this criminal revision application stands dismissed.
