The petitioner, who is a Panchayat Secretary is aggrieved by the order dated 26.02.2020 contained in memo no. 662 issued by the District Magistrate, Aurangabad, whereby, he has been transferred from Obra block to Goh block in the last year left of his service. The grievance of the petitioner is that his

Patna High Court CWJC No.7870 of 2020(2) dt.28-09-2020 2/2 representation dated 08.07.2020 has not been considered and that the Circular of the Government that a person should be allowed to be remain in his home State/block in the last year of his service, has not been adhered to when a mass transfer has been done by the impugned order. It appears from the pleadings made in the petition that the petitioner has already joined his new place of posting.

In that view of the matter, this Court directs the concerned respondent, namely, the District Magistrate, Aurangabad to consider the representation given by the petitioner on 08.07.2020 and dispose it of by a reasoned order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The order passed by the concerned respondent shall be communicated to the petitioner forthwith. This petition stands disposed of accordingly. (Ashutosh Kumar, J) sunilkumar/- U
