JUSTICE NANI TAGIA ORAL ORDER 03-09-2025 This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of order dated 09.07.2018 passed in CWJC No. 626 of 2016, wherein, the Executive Engineer, Tirhut Canal Division No. 1, Bettiah was directed to calculate the wages payable to the petitioner for the period June, 2009 to May, 2010 as found admissible and make payment of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the judgment.

Opposite party Nos. 1 to 5 have filed a supplementary show cause on 11.06.2025, wherein, in paragraph Nos. 6 and 7 it has been stated that in compliance of the order passed in the writ petition, the payable amount as per the Court's order was calculated from July, 2009 to May, 2010 and on such calculation Rs. 19,278/- was found to be payable to the petitioner which amount has been paid to the petitioner's bank account on 05.06.2025.
3. On perusal of paragraph No. 6 and 7 of the supplementary show cause filed by the opposite party Nos. 1 to 5, I find that the order dated 09.07.2018 passed in CWJC No. 626 of 2016 has been duly complied with by the respondents.
4. In view of the above, this contempt application stands closed and disposed off.
